Judith Szepesi is a member of the Patent Practice Group. Judith is a registered patent attorney whose practice focuses on intellectual property protection in the software, hardware, security, and telecommunications industries. She provides a broad range of patent related services including preparation and prosecution of patent applications, design of patent programs, review and evaluation of patent portfolios, writing and negotiating licenses, due diligence evaluations, and writing opinions regarding patent validity and infringement.

Judith has assisted numerous clients in establishing patent policies, reviewing and pruning existing IP portfolios, and designing a cost effective patent prosecution program. Her clients range from industry leaders such as VeriSign, Inc. and Trimble, to established companies like FullPower, Inc. and DigitalPersona, Inc., as well as start-ups and solo inventors. She has worked with numerous companies that were acquired in part based on their patent portfolios, including LightSurf, Inc. and Pivia, Inc.

Judith’s focus is on assisting her client in getting the best value for their money, and in establishing a valuable and cohesive portfolio in-line with the business’ goals.
